The Link Academy was delighted to welcome prospective learners and their families to a highly successful Open Evening.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore the academy, meet members of staff and discover the wide range of learning experiences and opportunities available. From exciting subject activities and live performances to sporting challenges and displays of creativity, there was plenty for families to see and enjoy.
Our learners were incredible throughout the event. They welcomed visitors, supported activities and spoke confidently about their experiences of life at The Link Academy. Their enthusiasm, maturity and pride in their academy helped to make the evening particularly special.
It was also lovely to welcome back a number of former learners, who returned to visit staff and see how the academy continues to grow. Seeing past and present members of Team Link together added to the warm sense of community felt throughout the evening.
Mrs Edwards-Morgan, Principal of The Link Academy, said:
“We are incredibly proud of everyone who helped to make our Open Evening such a success. Our learners were outstanding ambassadors for the academy, welcoming families with confidence, enthusiasm and warmth. It was also wonderful to see former learners returning to visit us. Once you become part of Team Link, you remain part of our community.”
Thank you to every family who joined us and to the learners, staff, parents, carers and members of the wider academy community who helped to make the evening so welcoming and memorable.
Families who were unable to attend can still book a tour during the school day by contacting the academy.
Applications for a Year 7 place starting in September 2027 close on 31 October 2026.
